TESLA Electronics LTD, organizational unit, is committed to the security of the personal data you provide. We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to adequately protect your data, taking into account the seriousness of their processing. No unauthorized person has access to the personal data we obtained from you, and we do not transfer them to other entities for further processing without your consent, unless required by law or in the protection of our legal interests.

 

Right to information

Your right is to request TESLA Electronics LTD, organizational unit information about what personal data and to what extent and for what purpose we process about you. We will provide these information free of charge within a period of not more than 30 days, in extraordinary situations within 90 days. We will inform you in a timely manner about any extension of the period in extraordinary cases. If you request disclosure of information we hold about you, we will first need to verify that you are indeed the person to whom this information belongs. In your request, please provide sufficient identification of yourself. If necessary we have the right to request additional information to identify you before providing the personal data we process about you.

Our right is to reasonably refuse requests for information that are unfounded, or excessively repetitive, or where obtaining them would require disproportionate effort, or would be difficult to obtain (typically from backup systems, archives, etc.).

Right to data portability

You have the right to obtain the personal data we hold about you in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. At your request these data may be transferred to another controller.

Update of data, right to rectification

As personal data can change over time (for example, a surname change), we would be grateful if you inform us of any change so that we can keep your personal data up to date and avoid any errors. Providing information about changes to data is necessary for us to properly perform our duties as the Controller. This also relates to your right to rectify the personal data we hold about you. If you find that our data are no longer up to date, you have the right to request their correction.

If you believe that we do not process your personal data in accordance with applicable Czech and EU law, you have the right to lodge an objection, and we will subsequently verify the validity of your request. At the moment of filing an objection, the processing of your personal data will be restricted until it is verified whether the objection is justified. Right to restrict processing

You have the right to restrict the processing of your personal data if you believe that the data we hold are not accurate, or if we process them unlawfully, and furthermore if you believe that we no longer need these data for the purposes of processing.

 

Right to erasure

If you have ever given us consent to process your personal data (for example, your email address for the newsletter), you have the right to withdraw it at any time and we are obliged to erase data that we process solely on the basis of your consent. The right to erasure does not apply to data processed for the purpose of fulfilling a contract, legal reasons, or legitimate interests. If some of your data are stored in backup systems which automatically ensure resilience of all our systems and serve to protect against data loss in case of accidents, we are not able to erase these data even from backup systems and often this is not technically feasible. However, these data are not actively processed further and will not be used for further processing purposes.

Retargeting via Seznam.cz

Processing of personal data for advertising and retargeting

As part of our marketing strategy we use retargeting via the Seznam Sklik service, operated by Seznam.cz, a.s. We share only email addresses of users who have subscribed to our TESLA newsletter. These data are uploaded to the Seznam Sklik system, where they are matched with Seznam.cz's database and subsequently used to create so-called own user lists. Retargeting advertising concerns recommending TESLA brand products to users who are signed up with Seznam.cz and have given consent to ad targeting.

Legal basis for processing and consent, legitimate interest

When processing personal data for retargeting purposes we ensure that processing is in accordance with the applicable legal regulations, especially GDPR. This processing occurs on the basis of your consent you provided when subscribing to our newsletter. Legitimate interest: We conduct retargeting based on legitimate interest. Users have the option to unsubscribe from retargeting campaigns and are informed why ads are shown to them.

Data retention period

Email addresses are kept for as long as you are subscribed to our newsletter. After unsubscribing from the newsletter, email addresses are promptly removed from the retargeting database.

Your rights and options to withdraw consent

You have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data for retargeting purposes at any time. If you decide to withdraw your consent, we will immediately remove your data from our own user lists in the Seznam Sklik system. Security and protection of personal data

The Seznam.cz, a.s. ensures that after the pairing process your data will be securely erased in accordance with their terms and privacy policy. Your personal data are protected by technical and organizational measures that ensure their safety and confidentiality.

Recipients of personal data (controller's subcontractors)

1. If you consent to the transfer of personal data for the purpose of evaluating a purchase, we will forward the information about the order together with your email address to Seznam.cz. They may use it to obtain an independent assessment of our products and services. The transferred personal data will be kept only for as long as necessary for this purpose.

2. We determine your satisfaction with the purchase through email surveys within the Customer Verified program, in which our e-shop is involved. We send them to you every time you shop with us, unless you opt out as per § 7(3) of Act No. 480/2004 Coll. on certain information society services. The processing of personal data for sending surveys within the Customer Verified program is performed on the basis of our legitimate interest, which consists in assessing your satisfaction with your purchase. For sending surveys, evaluating your feedback and analyses of our market position we use a processor, the operator of the Heureka.cz portal; for these purposes we may transfer information about purchased goods and your email address to them. Your personal data are not shared with any third party for its own purposes when sending email surveys. You can express a refusal to receive email surveys within the Customer Verified program at any time by declining further surveys via the link in the survey email. If you object, we will stop sending you the survey.

3. In case you consent to the transfer of personal data for the purpose of evaluating a purchase, we will forward the order information together with your email address to Favi a.s. They may use it to obtain an independent evaluation of our products and services. The transferred personal data will be kept only for as long as necessary for this purpose.

 

Transfer of personal data to third countries

There are no transfers of personal data to processors or other recipients in third countries or in international organizations.
